Quick Notes
We are currently looking for more staff members and various helpful teammates who would like to lend a paw to ensure that our site runs smoothly. We understand that running a site or helping run one on any capacity can be encompassing and overwhelming. We appreciate our members who want to help out but also stress the importance of not stretching yourself thin if you’re not able to. Therefore, every person appointed to staff may request “staff breaks” (temporary breaks from staff-hood) whenever they feel the need, for whatever reason it may be.
We’re just a fun roleplay site, and even though there are “behind-the-scenes” works that are required, we don’t want you to jeopardize your physical or mental health trying to help us succeed. One way or another, the show will always go on. Please note that any staff member who does not perform related staff-like duties within a month’s time or more will be automatically placed under “Staff Break” group. They will be required to message an admin when they’re ready to return back in full-force to regain their full stiffly powers. After three or more months of complete sitewide inactivity, they will be moved back to regular member status until they’re able to log back in and confirm they’re willing and able to pick back up their staff mantle.

Administrators oversee the entire site's activities. They are able to help ensure that the site's designs stays up-to-date, often help with getting the word out and advertising the site, and monitoring the various active threads on the site. They can also assist other Staff Members with specific, often tough decisions or when there is something specific that another Staff member may be unsure of. There may be 1 Administrator per every 50 or so active accounts.
Designers work on the backend of the site. They help maintain the various codes and plugins to help make sure the site stays looking fresh and up-to-date. They are often very knowledgeable about Proboards unique code sources, plugins, and other Admin-like features that help create the overall "look and feel" of the website. There may be up to 3 designers at any given time, and they are heavily encouraged to work together when deciding implementation of any new features.
Advertisers go around promoting the website. They should be able to explain the basic premise of the site and should be able to help encourage interested future members who may want to join the site. They should also help ensure the maintenance of the Advertising and Linking Back boards. Advertisers must feel comfortable navigating different sites of various types of boards and sites to understand how their advertising works and to know what they can or cannot do. They should work with each other and communicate to help ensure that two advertisers aren't trying to link back to the same site or updating the list of advertisers.

Moderators help ensure smooth facilitation of out of character and in character content on the site. They should be able to check newly posted threads and current on-going threads. They are also given express permission to own and operate a "Spook" account and can appear in threads that are spook-friendly to curse or bless players' characters at will. They should understand how the site and roleplaying on the site works, as well as how acting as a spook works. There may be 1 Moderator per every 10 members or so.
MEDIA MODERATORS

Media Moderators are able to help oversee and manage social media outlets for Sparkledog Nation. They may be given special permissions, such as admin status, on Sparkldog's Facebook Page or other social media accounts (where applicable without requiring access to a log in). Not all social medias may have this option, and not all Media Moderators may be able to help on all social media outlets. Often, they may choose just a few that they're knowledgeable with and would like to help out with. There may be 1 Social Media personnel per social media outlet based on the ones that allow multiple users to help run and operate it.
