"Here lies the laughter of a mad woman, it carried on the wind until the wind broke, then came crashing down into oblivion."
My name is Loch, if you will, and I will be your navigator, narrator, and all around instigator of forced facts this evening!
I've been around for just over two decades! It sounds much more like an achievement when put in such a manner. I have two dogs - one small, plump, chiweenie pupper named Maggie, and a chunky Boston TERROR boi named Moose. They're both my favorites. Dogs are my #FavoriteThing. I rather enjoy interacting with animals, and rather do not enjoy interacting with entitled people, the latter of which is partially my job. But in the spirit of this whole mildly facetious tour dialogue, my current occupation can be described as--
My job is not very glamorous, but neither is my life. Various things get me through my day, occupying my free time and distracting me from certain other things. I'm a soft-core gamer, interested in puzzles and shooters, zombies, stories, and leveling up. I'm not afraid to grind to get where I want to be, monotony suits my tired mind, and fast-paced combat very slightly hones my reflexes. Other hobbies include writing - of which I do very little these days - and roleplaying, drawing, cyber-socializing, and sleeping. I take photos of the beauty I find in the world, and attempt to convey the beauty I see in my head. My sense of beauty and my sense of humor often overlap; a fact most easily experienced by watching certain high quality NBC Hannibal crackvids. Of the many fandoms I belong to, the crackiest has to be the NBC Hannibal Fandom, but my two favorite shows of all time are Fringe and Rizzoli & Isles. I could wax poetic about Walter Bishop and the female friendship dynamic between Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles, if I were more a poet. But I am not. I am barely even a civil member of normal society. But who really wants to be normal?
So there you have it, this post took way too long to make. I got horribly distracted on the way, and had this been a real tour through this disorganized museum that is but a sliver of my life, we would all have inevitably gone through some mysteriously appearing rip in reality at an inconvenient and perfect position to be spontaneously flopped into. I may not always be this verbose, but I will most likely often have something to say. Please don't hesitate to PM me or catch me on Discord. For more, just ask.

I'm a member of this Forum, but I never got a "Discord" invite. I'm a mature woman/housewife/office worker. I've been RPing 20+ years. That includes chat RPs, Forum RPs and MMORPGs.
I'd love to discuss this Forum with fellow members. My intention is to play a female mountain gorilla here, if acceptable. If not, I'd be glad to discuss other char options. I'd be quite grateful for a "Discord" invite, if it's OK with the staff and my fellow members. Thank you.

Hi Kiara! Just in case you read this while not logged in, I sent you a private message whenever you have the time and desire to check it out! I'm excited to chat more. Mountain Gorilla! :) that's gonna be cool.

Hey Cyloch, welcome to Sparkledog Nation! My cousin has a Boston named Briddle, and she is abSOlutely aDORKable. She's getting a lot older now, but I used to love her cute and spunky personality. And boy, was she full of personality! Most of the others I have met were pretty lively little characters themselves, too, haha. I also have a friend with a "Mexican Hotdog" as she calls her baby Chiweenie, but her dog is just really sweet and a tad bit shy. :/ I grew up around Chihuahuas, and they're usually either super chill #laidback dogs or neurotic to the bone. There is no in-between. *gasp* Feel free to throw up some pictures of your furry family one day, if you ever want too. Also, feel free to toss up your photography one day for us all to marvel and oooh and aaah at too. Two decades sounds super impressive. I've been around since 2006 (just over a decade) but haven't really been counting the years anymore. xD It's almost like growing up in rl, you count it in the beginning, then you gloss it over with an estimate later on. But you've got me beat. I haven't played games in ages though. I went from games to roleplaying, to working, back to "Oh Hey, I can do fun things besides work all day!", to be honest. I loved God of War (haven't tried the super newest one if it's out yet? I think so?), Zoo Tycoon, Sims ( Not City, and I haven't even tried past Sims 3), GTA (for side missions like being an ambulance driver, and running random people over), etc. * I need a new console. If you play PC games at all and have never heard of it, look into Papers, Please! It's not too hard of a game to figure out, but it has various endings to it and it's slightly addicting. I also play stupid phone app games like Diner Dash and Townville, too. *Le Shame* Anyways, always great to have another gamer around even if this one's a little outta shape. Normal is overrated for sure. (Also, kiara, I haven't made a Discord for the site yet. I didn't want to get carried away with the social connections before I hit the ground running. I'll send you a PM, you should totally make the Mountain Gorilla character!)

Well, to be clear, by "around" I meant I've been living and breathing the recycled air here on earth for over two decades. My RPing hasn't been nearly as long, though I have totally been attempting it on and off for almost as long as I've been alive. Playing pretend as kids was just the beginning BWAHAHAHAHAHA. I'll move this conversation to an appropriate board to continue this conversation if you like. I love talking about games.
