Collective Plotting Let's Roleplay! Considerations for Plotting Plotting boards are used to advertise characters that are available for roleplaying purposes. They are great ways for players to find other characters to have their interact with. Plotting boards are also lovely ways for players to find other players for current roles in their character's life (such as children, wives, etc). Authors are given some rights to their character, but it is ultimately up to both players to discuss the possible events for roleplay threads before entering or creating one. Plotting boards are also great ways to advertise open threads players have with their characters, to garner more attention and encourage more roleplayers to join in.
Players are allowed to request reasonable accommodations for their roleplays, such as asking for a word count range. The range should allow for a leniency of 50 words from the target goal, as long as their thread isn't a form of "mandatory" IC threads (such as pack meetings) unless they comply with the board's specific rules (pack rules).
